I'm currently a Senior Interaction Designer in the very lovely DDaT team at the Home Office in London.
I help organisations to make the most of digital content and delivery systems, both online and on-site. You know, websites and stuff.
I work with stakeholders at all levels (from volunteers to directors) to find key journeys and opportunities, the important stories and messages, and from there the most value-driven ways to create them.
This can happen at any stage of a project, from pre-planning through ITT preparation and review, to implementation and delivery.
My interests include music and writing - I've had a number of plays and musicals performed, I've written and performed for a live satirical show in Brighton. I had a literary agent who failed to get any of my books published (except one short story, which was very exciting).
In short, I'm happy to get up in front of people and tell them stories. Or sing to them, at a push.
A key part of bringing people onboard with your ideas - with any idea - is the way you sell it. Engaging storytelling and presentation is central to this. It's something I really enjoy, and look to constantly improve.
